Hudson + Oak

Rosemary + Orange + Peppermint Hand & Body Wash
$26 CAD
I LOVE my rosemary + orange + peppermint hand wash & body wash, and highly recommend it! The heavy glass bottle (heavy in a high end way) + their minimalist branding looks so good on my bathroom counter. The soap itself leaves your hands silky smooth, while being 100% natural (heck ya). I loved it that much that I order two for each bathroom.
St Christopher Necklace
$178 CAD
Well, where do I start, the fact that I have purchased this necklace twice because I loved it that much? That would be a lie, the truth is I lost the first one at YVR going through security. I did keep telling myself no I don't need it again, come on Sarah you wannabe minimalist and just suffer with your consequences already. But rest assured a month later I was at Leah's studio in Gastown picking up my second St Christopher and I love it as much as the first time I purchased it. Anything from Leah's collection is absolutely stunning and will not disappoint.
Terracotta Stone Essential Oil Diffuser
$119 CAD
These diffusers are next level, the matte stone finish is to die for. I am that obsessed I purchased two for my home. I have the terracotta one in my bedroom and the blush in my office. They are simple and clean design and double as a piece of home decor. Also Vitruvi is founded by a local female boss babe Sara Panton (win/win).
Cali Print
$125 CAD
I first met Shelan at Hudson + Oak's very first market, Fall for Local at the Pipe Shops in North Vancouver. I immediately needed one of her prints in my home! Shelan's prints bring you to a place free of stress and joy, and I think we all need a bit more of that especially during this season. If you loving the boho/cali beach house trend right now these prints will fit perfectly in your home!
Super skinny scrunchies set
$25 CAD
Gotta love a locally made in Vancouver scrunchies. They have so many GOOD prints and they always sell out so quick, my favourite one is sadly no longer available so act quick people! These scream stocking stuffers while supporting a local boss babe, Courtney! If ever get a chance to meet her she is a GEM.
Surf Natural Candle
$36 CAD
I own multiples items from Tofino Soap Company. From her surf body scrub, surf lip chap to her face moisturizer. It's hard to choose favourites but I narrowed it down to a must try from her product line the surf natural candle. Personally, I am not a fan of overpowering scented candles especially thinking of our doggies in our home. But ohhhh this surf scent is subtle and smells salty but sweet similar to the ocean, it's so hard to explain but if you get a chance to smell it you will know what I mean! When I visit Tofino once a year I always stock up on all her goods because they are that good!
14K Yellow Gold Filled Stacking Rings
$35 CAD (for the pair)
I have a pair of these stacking rings for over 6 months and they are the perfect accessory. I love mix and matching different rings, but I always need gold stacking rings to complete the look. Raquel solders these rings herself (you read that right) and they are such incredible quality. It is hard to find artists these days that make their jewelry from scratch, and lucky for you Raquel does exactly that!
Sweet Sheets
$14 CAD
Sweet sheets, oh where do I even begin. The combination of lemon and lavender is heaven in a bottle. I love to spray this on my pillow case and duvet cover. The obsession continued as I purchased the dryer balls and essential oil version of sweet sheets to use in my diffuser. There is something about this simple yet addicting smell I can't get enough of. I am constantly spraying it all over my home, I know you will love it.
Pink Exfoliating Soap
$8 CAD
Stocking stuffers people!!! Give yourself a good five minutes to go and browse Bar Skin Bar's website, Cynthia the owner has an incredible product line. Between these awesome natural soaps to her bath bars they are such cute gifts with the best packaging. I cannot recommend this local Vancouver company enough.
Mini Handmade Rainbow
$45 CAD
How do I pick just one item from Jolynn's store of handmade goods? The answer is I can't. She has blush tie-died pillows, wall weavings, hand died bandanas and vessels. The list is endless and for your handmade lover in your family this is the perfect shop to find one of a kind goods while supporting a local artist! PS check out her workshop dates as well, make for a great gift as well!
Mini Cylinder Planter
$20 CAD
Nadia is your concrete boss babe! I love visiting her in her new studio in Chinatown, you need to go visit because she has all her handmade goods on display to purchase. I have one of these cute small cylinders in dipped matte white in my office and it fits those small cactuses perfectly and it such a great addition to any shelf or desk. Another amazing stocking stuffer for the plant lover in your family!
Linen and Indigo Mud Cloth Pillow
$70 CAD
It might not be a surprise to many of you that I am including Marika's hand sewn pillows in our local gift guide. I have too many to count in my home! Marika was my very first "business friend" where we bonded over our mutual love for home decor. My favourite pillow from her line is the one linked here, it's half linen and half indigo. I love love love a pop of blue in my oh so neutral home! Her studio is located in Langley, so easy local pick up and who doesn't need more pillows in their home? Never enough...
Whipped Coconut Butter Balm
$44 CAD
This smells SO GOOD and feels even better for my dry a$$ skin with no greasy residue. Taylor the founder is an absolute skin goodness on a mission to bring powerhouse natural ingredients into your everyday skincare routines, and hey we are not complaining! She released adorable packs just in time for Christmas, which make the perfect gift for the skin junkie on your Christmas list.
Sunset Tumbler
$45 CAD
Where do I even start about Aleena, well first she is the pottery QUEEN. I have many pieces of her handmade creations in my home and each one means so much to me! I have four tumblers that I love to drink my fancy a$$ matcha almond fraps in, a cutie plant pot for my watermelon peperomia and the most dearest piece is a custom vase that holds my pampas grass in my living room. I highly recommend gifting a set of tumblers to your best friend or partner, they are absolutely stunning.
Welcome to the Babes Club 1981 Collection
$109 CAD
The obsession with Brunette the Label started about a six months ago when I first purchased one of their blonde oversized crewnecks. I have heard about the brand for years but never made the plunge, but let me tell you once I did I was HOOKED. They are the softest and most high quality sweaters I have found in a long long time. Better yet is the messaging behind the brand from the founder Miriam Alden, Babes Supporting Babes, encapsulates everything we believe in over here at Hudson + Oak. I love everything this brand stands for. It was hard to choose just one, but I love the acid wash on this crew from their 1981 collection.
Honourable Mention (Outside of Vancouver but I had to mention this Canadian company from Ontario)
Juice Melons Hydrating Mist
$25 CAD
Where do I start, my love for Wolf + Pines branding runs deep real DEEP. Please please please I beg you to go to their website and look at their branding. Products I am placing an order for are: juice melons, filthy mouth, ho fo sho and london flog. Basically they are all about clean beauty for dirty people and I give them the slow clap for the most creative award.
